By creating an account or using MyPoopPal ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Not veterinary advice
MyPoopPal is a tracking and organization tool. It does not provide veterinary, medical, or diagnostic advice, and any AI-generated classifications or insights are informational only and may be inaccurate. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for your pet's health. You are solely responsible for decisions about your pet's care.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have consent from a parent or guardian.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to access data that isn't yours, probing or bypassing security or rate limits, uploading unlawful or infringing content, reverse engineering the Service, or using it to build a competing dataset. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload (dog profiles, logs, photos). You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service, including sending photos/log data to our AI provider when you use those features (see the Privacy Policy for sub-processors).
6. Households
If you create or join a household, members can view shared dogs and their logs. Only share invite codes with people you trust. You are responsible for managing your household's membership.
7. Availability & changes
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from reliance on the Service or its AI outputs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms.
